With the current increase in demand for domestic adventure travel extending into 2022, G Adventures has added 13 new trips to its existing United States of Adventure collection, which was first launched in February 2021. The new tours double the size of the collection, which now offers 28 trip options to national and Navajo Nation parks in the U.S.

Many of these trip include visits to local communities, Indigenous and local guides who share their background and connection to the places visited, and the opportunity to learn more about the history, cultures and landscape that make up the western U.S.

The new tours will begin departing in spring 2022, and are a mix of Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomethings travel styles. Classic trips offer travelers the benefit of seeing several parks in one trip, with some time in cities, and comfortable hotel accommodation throughout. The 18-to-Thirtysomethings trips are more action-packed and accommodations are mostly camping and simple motels.

“It’s clear that Americans are still eager to get out and explore our own backyard, and we’ve designed these new tours to fill a gap that we saw in the U.S. domestic tour market,” said Samantha Couture, director of product for North America and creator of the new itineraries, in a press release statement.

“With demand surging for national parks nationwide, we’re excited to be able to include a variety of unique and often difficult-to-book experiences in the itineraries, like a Navajo-guided tour of Antelope Canyon and an Indigenous-led Jeep tour through Monument Valley. Exploring these incredible parks, led by the passionate people who call these places home, is what makes these adventures stand out,” said Couture.

The new U.S. domestic tours include:
