Travel Italian Style’s Women’s Small Group Tour to the Hidden Gem of Italy itinerary explores Italy’s scenic southern region of Puglia.

Travel expert and integrative wellness advisor Cassandra Santoro invites travelers to get to know Italy like a native through customized women-only luxury tours. Launching this month, Santoro’s company, Travel Italian Style, specializes in tours through Florence, Tuscany, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast, as well as Puglia, Sicily and Sardenga.

Travel Italian Style’s new 8-day Women’s Small Group Tour to the Hidden Gem of Italy in Puglia is open to eight women who want to explore and relax in Italy’s scenic southern region during the height of wine harvest. Puglia is known for its two seas—the Adriatic and the Ionian—and features Baroque architecture, whitewashed fairytale villages, and pristine white-sand beaches. Highlights of the tour include grape stomping and a wine tasting, plus an aorecchiette pasta-making class, exclusive tours with top archaeologists, beach walks on nature reserves, visits to family-run olive oil mills, a lesson in the traditional dance of pizzica and a stop in the nearby seventh century town of Matera in Basilicata. The Women’s Small Group Tour to the Hidden Gem of Italy departs Aug. 31. Rates start at $3,497 pp, and include meals, accommodations, transportation, all tours, cooking classes and tastings. Two percent of tour profits are donated to FLYTE, an underprivileged youth travel non-profit. For more information, call (631) 268-4798 or call travelitalianstyle.com.
