Move over France and Italy—Switzerland is vying for the role as the European honeymoon destination with its romantic landscapes and tucked-away hotels.

“Switzerland is in the heart of Europe, so what better place is there for a honeymoon,” says Alex Herrmann, director, Americas, Switzerland Tourism. “Switzerland’s pristine natural beauty, picturesque villages and the rich cultural heritage provide a stunning and truly romantic backdrop for every honeymoon, in all four seasons.”

A popular package for honeymooners is the Spa Above the Clouds package at Le Mirador Kempinski, located in the romantic region of Lake Geneva, featuring sweeping views of the lake, vineyards, charming villages, and, of course, incredible food and wine.

The 67-room hotel offers a private balcony in every room and suite, with views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. When couples book the package, they will receive a night in a jr. suite and one spa treatment pp at Givenchy Spa. In addition, guests will have unlimited access to the wellness center, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and pool; breakfast; and complimentary use of local public transportation.
