Back-Roads Touring has announced details of its Royal Tour of Britain 2018, traveling from Edinburgh to London.

The 9-day tour begins in Edinburgh with a visit to St. Andrews University, before visiting Balmoral Castle—the summer residence of the Queen. After a whisky tasting at the Lochnagar Distillery, guests will then embark on a tour of Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Yacht Britannia.

The tour then heads towards the Rosslyn Chapel (featured in the film “The Da Vinci Code”) before leaving Scotland for York. Here, guests will discover York Minster and explore the historic city. Stratford-upon-Avon is the next stop, which is the birthplace of William Shakespeare, followed by a visit to Oxford. Lastly, the tour will conclude in London with a tour of Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Palace, Clarence House and Kensington Palace.

The tour will include eight nights in boutique accommodations, an experienced tour leader and driver, premium mini-coach transportation, daily breakfast and five dinners, plus entrance into the listed attractions.
