Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic announced that the 102-guest National Geographic Orion will set sail for Europe on a series of 22 one-week voyages after the Antarctic season in 2016.
These itineraries will explore Portugal, Spain, France, England, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, the Baltic Republics, and Scandinavia. Trips will be led by a team with diverse expertise on the countries being visited and will cover ancient and modern history, political science, art, viniculture and music, and lead active land excursions such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. There will also be experts in journalism, science, and world affairs who will take part in the Global Perspectives Speakers’ program, plus each voyage will feature a National Geographic photographer. The itineraries have been designed to allow guests the opportunity to take consecutive voyages and discover a range of destinations. For more information, visit expeditions.com.
