The property’s whitewashed, thoughtfully designed collection of houses has been created to resemble a charming, exclusive Mykonian village that tumbles down a slope to Ornos Bay, just a short walk from Ornos Beach.
The owners aim to make this property stand apart from other hotels in Mykonos by offering “amazing service,” bringing in their trusted staff from three hotspot restaurants in Athens to get it started. Having grown up on the island, the owners want to introduce guests to the real Mykonos—not only the party scene, but local artists’ studios, private beaches, the best shops….
Spread out over five acres and set against a lush hillside blanketed with 20,000 plants, Kalesma offers a charmed location, on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea on two sides for sunsets and sunrises. Here, suite and villa accommodations all come with full-size heated pools, and offer unobstructed sea views, private terraces with al fresco dining areas, poolside sun loungers, outdoor showers and SONOS sound systems. The suites are 680 sq. ft., while the two 2- and 3-bedroom villas span 2,600 sq. ft. and feature an open-plan living room with separate dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen with a pre-stocked refrigerator, wine fridge and private chef available upon request.
