Tribute Portfolio, Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ 10th brand and second collection of independent hotels, is making its France debut with the addition of the Le Metropolitan hotel and the nearby Le Dokhan’s hotel in the 16th Arrondissement of Paris.

On April 1, the 58-guestroom and -suite Le Metropolitan, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is opening on the Place de Mexico within walking distance of Paris’ famous landmarks, including the Trocadero Gardens, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. The boutique hotel is located in a traditional 19th century Haussmann-style building and features 38 guestrooms, five Junior Suites, four Suites, and the Eiffel Suite, which offers a spectacular view of the famous tower. Each guestroom is designed in a modern Parisian style with neutral color palettes, hardwood floors, and local artwork. Additional amenities include a pool, a wellness center, and a French restaurant. Room rates start at $325 per night.

Meanwhile, the 49-guestroom and -suite Le Dokhan’s, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is also opening on April 1 in what was originally designed as a private townhouse. The hotel’s homey interior features Neoclassical architecture; a champagne bar, which serves more than 200 different varieties of premium champagne; and one-of-a-kind antiques, such as an original Louis Vuitton elevator cabin, hand-painted friezes, and custom-made fabrics and works of art by Picasso, Klee and Matisse. Both historical hotels are located near the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees and Avenue Montaigne. Room rates start at $314 per night. For more information, visit tributeportfolio.com.
