Crystal River Cruises has unveiled the ultra-chic design for the brand’s first vessel—the Crystal Mozart. On July 13, the 158-passenger vessel will begin her maiden roundtrip voyage from Vienna, sporting spacious and stylishly outfitted guest suites, public lounges and dining venues fashioned by London’s AD Associates and Toronto’s II by IV Design. Dubbed the “Queen of European Rivers,” the luxurious ship features a new pop-up bar area on the top Vista deck, complete with a vanishing movie screen for al fresco evening show times, a living rooftop garden area with teak bench seating areas also on the Vista deck, and two custom tender boats for a more intimate exploration. The ship is designed to fit into the wider locks of the Danube River from Passau in Germany to Budapest in Hungary and will sail in destinations throughout Austria, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Croatia and Serbia.

Room categories include the 219-sq.-ft. Window Suites, the 219-sq.-ft. Deluxe Suites with French balcony, the 330-sq.-ft. Penthouse suites, and a 883-sq.-ft. 2-bedroom Crystal Suites—the largest accommodation. All guest suites feature walls and fabrics adorned with a calming color palette of cream, gray and white, accented with rich jewel tones in deep blue, green and the occasional vibrant print, king-size beds, Nespresso machines, 40-inch flat-screen TVs and marble bathrooms. However, the Crystal Mozart’s 1-bedroom Penthouses and the 2-bedroom Crystal Suite offer the ultimate in opulent accommodations with French balconies, walk-in closets, separate showers and oversized bathtubs. Crystal’s acclaimed butler service will be available with every guest suite.

The ship’s four main decks—Harmony, Seahorse, Crystal and Vista—will offer numerous public areas for guests to enjoy onboard enrichment, fitness and wellness, and world-class dining, such as the Palm Court, a main hub for dancing and live entertainment; the Waterside, Blue and Vintage Room dining areas; and the Crystal Life Spa, where guests will find a fully equipped fitness, spa and salon facilities. Spa amenities include an indoor pool and two treatment rooms, as well as male and female sauna and steam rooms. The Crystal Mozart offers a crew-to-guest ratio of approximately 1:1.75.
