Who doesn’t enjoy a few adult beverages? Whether your clients are enjoying a rum tasting, or taking in a spa treatment that incorporates wines, we found three properties around the globe that offer your clients a few adult beverage treats—and one with lots of family fun, too.

Wine isn’t only for drinking at Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine hotel and winery in Spain’s Duero wine region. The property will be opening its new El Santuario Spa this July with a signature treatment menu that incorporates both red and white wines.

“We are a classic property with a 900-year-old history, and so offer a full range of classical spa treatments and services,” says managing director Andres Araya. “We have a deep-rooted wine culture, embodied in our bespoke vinotherapy spa concept of personalized spa journeys based on local wine traditions and orchestrated by a spa sommelier.”
The spa experience not only involves a spa sommelier who is there to create a one-of-a-kind experience for each guest, but also a spa butler who welcomes guests and assists them throughout the entire spa experience. Spa Sommeliers conduct a “blind tasting” of oils to smell and wines to taste, and then design a spa experience targeted to the guest’s physical and spiritual needs. For guests who don’t drink alcohol, the wines can be replaced with a selection of teas and juices depending on the season.
The 10,000-sq.-ft. spa features four individual treatment rooms, a sauna, steam baths, showers, hydrotherapy pools, a relaxation room, outdoor showers, an indoor heated pool and an outdoor pool with a snack menu, as well as separate changing areas for ladies and men. In addition, the spa offers spa-style cuisine and wellness offerings including yoga, meditation, and Qi Gong. Eight of the property’s 30 guestrooms will have direct spa access. Rates start at $411 for a Classic Double Room including breakfast, as well as for the direct spa access rooms. For more information, visit ledomaine.es.
