St. Kitts Marriott Resort is currently undergoing multi-million dollar renovations to all of its 389 guestrooms, to be completed by August, and to the lobby, which will be unveiled later this year.

The new color palette for guestrooms is made up of rich woods, ocean blues, off-whites and splashes of golden yellow. Other changes include the elimination of the standard dresser, desk and chair in the rooms, replacing them with functional spaces designed with comfort in mind. All rooms will have a seating area with a couch and chair, and the bathrooms will get simple, yet elegant touch-ups with quality materials like polished nickel, dark wood, white quartz countertops and backlit mirrors.

St. Kitts Marriott Resort is located in the Frigate Bay area of the island, a 10-minute drive from the airport and the capital city of Basseterre. The resort features a championship golf course, a spa, eight restaurants, two lounges and what is said to be the largest Vegas-style casino in the Caribbean. Call for rates.
