Kempinski Hotels is planning for a spring opening of its first hotel in Cuba. Located within the historic Manzana de Gomez building in the heart of Old Havana, The Gran Hotel Kempinski Manzana La Habana will feature 246 rooms and suites, ranging in size from 430 to 1,614 sq. ft.—all with 13- to 16-ft.-tall ceilings.

Said to be Cuba’s first modern, luxury five-star hotel by chairman of the management board and CEO of Kempinski Hotels Markus Semer, The Gran Hotel Kempinski Manzana La Habana will also offer a rooftop terrace and pool with views over Havana’s Old Town, a 10,763-sq.-ft. spa, three restaurants, a lobby bar and a cigar lounge.
