After two years in Queenstown, New Zealand, Hilton Queenstown is re-establishing itself as Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa and offering a new package to celebrate.
“We felt somewhat confined by the original name, which didn’t quite communicate the expansiveness of the guest experience here,” says Andrew Nisbet, the hotel’s general manager. “As a resort and spa, we’re really embracing this destination as a place to experience some of the greatest natural wonders and most exhilarating pursuits available in all of New Zealand.”
As one of four Hilton properties in New Zealand, Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa is located on the South Island at the foothills of the Remarkables mountain range and features the eforea spa, which was a Conde Nast Johansens Luxury Spa Recommendation in 2012. The 3-level spa features a heated pool with hot tub, sauna and steam rooms, and a fitness center.
The resort is offering the new spa package, Escape to eforea, from now through December 2014, featuring accommodations for two in a lakeview room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private balcony and a stone fireplace; a full buffet breakfast at Wakatipu Grill; and two 30-minute massages (per stay), as well as 20 percent off additional treatments.
