The Alfond Inn at Rollins in Winter Park, Orlando is welcoming back guests with a Yay!cation Getaway Package and 20 percent savings for Florida residents.

The AAA Four Diamond hotel has recently been awarded AAA’s Best of Housekeeping Award, which recognizes AAA Inspected & Approved hotels that receive the highest possible cleanliness and condition scores. An achievement that matters more than ever as visitors begin traveling again and expect high standards of sanitation.

The Yay!cation Getaway Package includes one night’s accommodation; complimentary self-parking; and one $50 hotel credit per stay that is valid towards hotel services, including Hamilton’s Kitchen and the Bar. Rates start at $219 per night, per room, based on double occupancy, and Florida residents will enjoy an extra 20 percent discount on the package rate.

The Alfond Inn at Rollins is also offering a new Intimate Weddings package that complies with current social distancing restrictions. The package welcomes bride and groom, and up to 10 guests, including a choice of elegant indoor and outdoor venues at the hotel, white garden chairs, a champagne toast, a wedding cake and romantic accommodations in a Parlor Suite for one night. The rate is $1,000, and couples may add on a brunch or dinner for the wedding party in the Private Dining Room at Hamilton’s Kitchen for an additional cost.

The Alfond Inn at Rollins was designed to exhibit rotating installations of works from The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, which are part of the collection of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College. The Alfond Inn is the only hotel in the United States that serves as an actual extension of an art museum. The public areas of the hotel showcase rotating installations of contemporary art from the museum’s collection of paintings, photographs, sculptures and mixed-media, and there’s a self-guided tour of the current art installation using QR codes.

Winter Park was built in the 19th century, and its cobblestone streets winding past shops and outdoor cafes make it one of the most walkable towns in Florida. The city has a 23-acre green space on Lake Baldwin where dogs can run off leash during specific posted hours, a chain of tranquil lakes, the Winter Park Golf Course (now open) in the center of town, and an abundance of open spaces and parks cooled by the large oak trees hung with Spanish Moss.
