The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) has invited the travel community to virtually #ComeTogetherWithUSTOA in April by tuning into the association’s social media channels for international music videos.

As the world practices social distancing and all public gatherings such as concerts and  performances are cancelled, USTOA aims to bring people together with music videos from artists based in the destinations that tour  operator members  visit.

“As USTOA members come together to begin to plan for recovery, this social media campaign will allow our global community to virtually unite through the inspiring universal language of music,” said Terry Dale, president and CEO of USTOA, in a press release statement. “By supporting international musicians, destinations, and tour operators throughout the month, we hope to offer uplifting and engaging content.”

The campaign launched on April 1 with Ailbhe Reddy, the indie-Irish-folk singer based in Dublin. Since then, the daily features have included bands, songwriters, and even accordionists, from Nova Scotia, Mexico, London, and Finland. Upcoming artists will include a twin-duo of violinists from Sicily and a country band from Tanzania. Viewers can tune into the content on the association’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels.

USTOA has been working diligently to make sure that the travel and tourism industry has a voice in Washington, DC, gathering intelligence on a daily basis and sharing that information with its members. For more on that, click here.
