Walt Disney World Resort has unveiled details of what’s new and upcoming in 2026, including ten new attractions and nine returning special events.
Frozen Ever After at EPCOT is set to reveal updated Audio-Animatronics figures in February 2026, while the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom Park will reopen in spring 2026 following full refurbishments.
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER will be a limited-time event during the summer months that will bring favorite characters, new and refreshed attractions and family fun across the resort. Plus, further information about new family-friendly offers and deals for summer vacations will be unveiled in January.
Beginning in summer 2026, Bluey and Bingo are coming to Conservation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as an experience with animals native to Bluey’s home country of Australia.
While at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios area will debut two experiences. Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, a show currently at Disneyland Resort in California, will debut summer 2026. And then later in summer 2026, The Magic of Disney Animation will open with a Mary Blair-inspired playground, interactive experiences and an all-new character greeting experience with Off the Page!
In Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open in summer 2026. The current version of the attraction will be available for guests to enjoy until spring 2026. While at EPCOT in Walt Disney World and at Disneyland Resort in California, Soarin’ Across America will debut with all new scenic vistas across the United States as part of Disney Celebrates America for the country’s 250th anniversary. The new experience will open at Walt Disney World by Memorial Day 2026.
