Ireland has launched a new campaign focusing on “Slow Adventure,” sponsored in part by the European Travel Commission.

As the industry looks towards recovery efforts in 2021, travelers who have been cooped up at home for months are beginning to seek out adventure, but at their own pace, set in nature, and away from the crowds.

With this in mind, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in both Leitrim and Derry has highlighted experiences tailored to themes of sustainability and reconnecting as part of the Slow Adventure campaign.

Travel advisors are invited to learn about these offerings through the newly launched Slow Adventure Ireland website, featuring a comprehensive e-zine and a three-part podcast series.

Advisors seeking new opportunities for their clients are also encouraged to participate in an upcoming free webinar: Lose yourself in Leitrim, Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

The webinar will take place on Feb. 10, 2021, at 2-2:45PM EST. Speakers include Sinéad Mcdermott, tourism manager for Leitrim; Eileen Gibbons, owner, Leitrim Cycles; and Stephen Wrynn, owner, Way to Go Adventures.
