The Beverly Hilton has announced the completion of its $35 million property wide renovation, offering two summer packages, and enhanced cleaning technologies.
The comprehensive top-to-bottom renovation of the Beverly Hills landmark includes all guestrooms, nine private luxury suites within The Penthouse Collection, by appointment only fitness center, indoor-outdoor event spaces and meeting rooms, new MERCATO market and redesigned public spaces including the lobby.
The redesigned guestrooms, created in partnership with Texas-based Paul Duesing Partners, offer three accommodation experiences. The modernist design of the Oasis Building; the resort-inspired Hollywood glamor of the poolside cabanas; or the secluded retreat of The Wilshire Tower.
The resort offers ample space for social distancing, including the largest pool in Beverly Hills with reserved private chaise lounges, private cabanas and new pool menus. New dining option MERCATO, located near the pool, offers a market-fresh menu available as grab-and-go or a la carte. Superfood salads, signature sandwiches, homemade gelato and cocktails can be enjoyed from the comfort of a guestroom or in outdoor dining areas set with physical-distancing guidelines.
To celebrate the completion of the renovation, the hotel is offering two summer-long packages. The Poolside Cabana Escape includes a poolside cabana room with two dedicated chaise lounges, 4 p.m. late check-out, and a $75 food and beverage credit at MERCATO. While the Luxury Home Away from Home package includes a luxury signature or penthouse suite with spacious private terrace, pre-stocked refrigerator with a variety of snacks and beverages, and 4 p.m. late check-out.
To ensure guest safety, the hotel is implementing Hilton’s new CleanStay with Lysol protection protocols and hygiene standards. The bespoke safety plan has been developed in partnership with medical and security services company, International SOS/Corporate Medical Advisors, and includes advanced, hospital-grade sanitization technology.
Included in the new protocols is the Xenex LightStrike Robot, used in more than 400 hospitals including the Mayo Clinic, Stanford and HonorHealth. The device is confirmed to be effective against SARS-COV-2, and delivers up to 4,300x more germicidal UV pathogen killing intensity than UV-C mercury vapor. It will be used as part of the housekeeping process for guestrooms as well as deployed in public restrooms, elevators, kitchens, meeting rooms and to disinfect luggage.
Emist electrostatic sprayers, found to be eight times more effective than typical spraying devices, will also be used throughout all public spaces and in guestrooms. Creative and customized meeting sets and meal service will respect physical distancing guidelines, and contactless experiences will include digital check-in and check-out, digital key for guestrooms and contactless communication.
Rates for Summer 2020 begin at $215.
