Destination DC is promoting #DCtogether to shine a light on DC’s hospitality and tourism community amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The #DCtogether campaign is all about celebrating DC virtually until we can celebrate DC in person.

As part of this initiative, Destination DC has launched “Things To Do this Weekend in Washington, DC: Stay Home Edition,” including watching the cherry blossom and panda cams. Virtual travelers can also tour the city via 360-degree videos; get inspired to visit the city when travel opens up again by watching an array of movies and TV shows in which DC is featured; and feel the beat of the city in their soul via the DC music playlist.

This is a great time to curl up with a book, and Destination DC has created a list of 20+ Washington, DC-related “books to devour,” or maybe it’s a virtual tour of DC museums, including those 17 Smithsonian museums, that will inspire future bookings.
