Breezes Resort & Spa – Bahamas officially reopened yesterday—July 1—as The Bahamas begins to again accept commercial flights and international travelers. The hotel is welcoming guests back with exceptional savings and enhanced health and safety standards.

“Breezes Resort & Spa has been an integral part of the The Bahamas community for 25 years and we can’t wait for guests to come back home and visit us,” said John Issa, SuperClubs’ Cchairman, in a press statement. “Everyone, from our chefs and bartenders to our entertainers and spa therapists, is eager to get back to work.”
During this downtime the executive team developed new safety and cleaning protocols to protect the well being of both guests and staff.
To ensure the safety of both guests and team members, Breezes Resort & Spa has redefined its customer experience to complement the measures of the Ministry of Tourism’s Clean and Pristine guidelines. Anyone visiting The Bahamas must present a COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test upon arrival that is no more than 7 days old. Travelers must fill out an electronic health visa prior to arrival, and are not required to self quarantine upon arrival.
At Breezes Resort & Spa, some of the health and safety updates guests will see include:
- Guestrooms – All accommodations will undergo even greater cleaning and sanitizing before arrival and during stays. Frequently handled items, such as TV remote controls, telephones, handles, doors, etc will be disinfected daily.
- Public Areas – Decals, markers, and guides throughout the resort ensure proper social distancing is practiced. The registration desk has acrylic barriers or safety screens installed.
- Dining Areas – Seating has been reduced with tables spread at least six feet apart. The specialty restaurants will be closed initially but their menu items will be served on varying days in the main dining room. Guests can expect contactless buffet style dining. The property is also working on developing digital menus.
- Beaches – Breezes Resort & Spa has 1,000 ft. of a private sector on Cable Beach allowing guests to enjoy their time in the sun while respecting social distancing guidelines.
